The Story of GNM-X

GNM-X is the heart of our collection. It was created around one simple but powerful idea: instead of only adding antioxidants from the outside, what if we could support the body's own natural ability to protect and renew itself? That idea comes from decades of scientific research into how our cells respond to everyday stress.

Dr. Joe McCord and a Landmark Discovery

In the late 1960s, at Duke University, Dr. Joe McCord and Dr. Irwin Fridovich discovered superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme the body makes on its own to neutralize free radicals. Their discovery changed how scientists understood oxidative stress and showed that our bodies come equipped with their own powerful antioxidant defenses.

NRF2: The Body's Master Switch

Building on that research, scientists identified NRF2, a protein often described as a “master switch.” When NRF2 is activated, it signals our cells to produce their own protective antioxidant enzymes, such as SOD. GNM-X is formulated with botanical ingredients designed to support the body's natural NRF2 pathway.
